Emerging creations

The call for projects “Emerging Creations» is intended for artists under 35 years old from all over the world for the production of an original artwork using or questioning digital practices in various possible forms (installation and visual art, live performance, video installation, immersive installation, sound creation, virtual or augmented reality, artificial intelligence……)

With this call for projects, it is also proposed to artists to strengthen their practices and provide them with the support they need to better understand their professional environment.

This call for projects is open until Sunday June 15, 5pm.

The jury will meet in early September 2025 to decide on the applications, and we will conduct interviews with artists during September 2025, before announcing the selected projects in October 2025.

The jury will select a minimum of two projects, at least one of which will be submitted by an artist living in the Southern Region of France.


Conditions to apply :

The jury will remain attentive to projects that question the use and impact of technology in our society, whether hi-tech or analog. The jury will also be sensitive to innovative forms of writing that renew formats, genres and aesthetics.

  • Particular attention to the project’s eco-responsibility will be part of the selection criteria. Read our charters
  • We strongly encourage artists to be accompanied by a local organization.
  • The artwork must be ready for presentation at the Biennial from October 2026 to January 2027.

Works in different forms are eligible, such as:

  • Installation and visual art
  • Live performance, hybrid form and performance
  • Live audiovisual
  • Video installation
  • Immersive installation
  • Sound creation
  • Virtual or augmented realit
  • Experimental video game

The artworks are also available in an online format


The contributions of the platform :

  • Financial contribution: To be determined on the basis of a budget estimate worked out with the artist.
  • Artistic, technical and logistical support: Support during the writing and production phases on technical and logistical aspects, connecting with specialized technicians, contributing and sharing aesthetic and scenographic resources.
  • Professionalization support offered by AMI, a partner of the platform: expertise and advice (legal, financial, communication, etc.) from our teams and those of our partners, training in artistic entrepreneurship, knowledge of the cultural environment and digital arts, work on the touring of the artwork.
  • Residency hosting: Depending on the needs of the project, some of the platform’s partners offer support for one or more residencies. Consult the residency hosting locations
  • Presentation during the biennial and assistance with help in touring in our regional, national and international networks following the biennial.
