To continue and deepen the narrative of the Biennial, made up of some fifty works and fifteen exhibitions presented during this 2022-2023 edition, the Biennial of Digital Imaginaries goes digital and offers you to (re)visit the exhibitions and (re)discover the artwork thanks to new formats.
The third edition of the Biennial of Digital Imaginaries ended last Sunday with success and emotion. After three months of exhibitions, shows and meetings in Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and Avignon, it is now time for us to send warm thanks to those who accompanied us throughout this great edition 2022-2023.
To the public who came in great numbers with nearly 97 000 visitors gathered around the exhibition routes, the opening nights and the closing nights of the Biennial. Your presence testifies to the importance of this event dedicated to digital arts and cultures in the Southern Region and on an international scale. Thanks to you, this event has allowed many amateurs, professionals and artists to meet with fervor around reflections on the world in digital regime and on the presence of technologies in the artistic thought. To the volunteers for their motivation, involvement and availability in welcoming the public during the opening nights in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.
To our institutional partners, donors and privates for the trust they have placed in us and which has enabled us to carry out this magnificent project with serenity.
To our local, national and international cultural partners with whom we have imagined and produced this third edition.
To our guest of honor Belgium, Wallonia – Brussels – Flanders for having contributed to the realization of this program.
To the technical, production, communication, mediation and administration teams for their professionalism and commitment throughout the preparation and organization of this third edition, carried out with determination, enthusiasm and confidence.
And thank you of course to the artists and speakers whose visions and imaginations are the soul of this Biennial. The richness of the artistic proposals created for this edition, performed during the Nights, exhibited during the Biennial or presented during the professional meetings have amplified the debates and reflections on our technological and digital society, populated by poetry and utopias.
