For one day, CHRONIQUES invites students, professionals and enthusiasts to come together around artistic and independent video games. Through encounters, workshops and explorations, this Video Game Forum offers an immersive experience into a thriving creative sector, at the crossroads of art, design and technology.
A day in two parts
The morning is dedicated to pitch sessions with industry professionals, who come to present their career paths and their roles. An open exchange with students, to better understand the realities of a field as vast as it is unique, and to glimpse the many different routes into it.
The afternoon opens up to free exploration, with a rich and varied programme: browsing the stands, screenings of machinima created in class by students taking part in Une Rentrée Numérique, presentations by higher education schools offering video game programmes, and workshops on character design and game design.
A video game space dedicated to workshops and demonstrations will also be accessible in the afternoon.
