From 30 March to 1 April, pupils in the UPE2A and NSA classes at Clair Soleil Secondary School explored stop-motion animation with the artist Driss Ouamar. The project centred on collectively rewriting and bringing to life an Amazigh folktale, “The Weaver of the Stars”.
Combining animation and sound design, the students created an experimental animated film using archive footage of Marseille’s 14th arrondissement. A poetic vision of the city, spanning past, present and future.
