Biennial of Digital Imaginaries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Created in 2018 and organized by CHRONIQUES – the Biennial of Digital Imaginaries is the highlight of digital arts and culture in the Southern region.
Through its exploration of visual art, sound art and performing art, the Biennial focuses on the ways in which digital and new technologies are used by artists in their work. Taking over a range of public spaces, it gives a voice to national and international artists from a variety of different backgrounds.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After attracting over 98,000 visitors to its third edition, this year’s Biennal of Digital Imaginaries will focus on the theme of Pleasure<\/a>, and will be inaugurated on November 7, 8 and 9, 2024 in Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Avignon and the PACA region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHRONIQUES <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shaped by the contrast and diversity of its dual identity in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, today CHRONIQUES is a major international arts event and a human-powered organisation that has pursued the same goal with obsessive conviction for over 20 years: to find new forms of aesthetics and imaginary realms that provide insight into our ambivalent relationship with technology.
CHRONIQUES organizes the Biennial of Digital Imaginaries, as well as public events (exhibitions, encounters, mediation activities) and formation activities to crack the code of digital society. CHRONIQUES is also a platform for the production of original artworks, and for networking and mutual support around the production, distribution and recognition of digital and hybrid arts<\/p>\n\n\n\n
