{"id":30484,"date":"2023-11-28T18:00:31","date_gmt":"2023-11-28T17:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chroniques.org\/creations\/chroniques-creations\/"},"modified":"2025-05-26T13:32:33","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T11:32:33","slug":"chroniques-creations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/chroniques.org\/en\/creations\/chroniques-creations\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation &#038; context"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Created in 2018 and organized by CHRONIQUES \u2013 a project of the associations Seconde Nature in Aix-en-Provence and ZINC in Marseille \u2013 the Biennial of Digital Imaginaries is the highlight of digital arts and cultures in the South region. <br>Exploring visual arts, sound arts and live performance, the Biennial is interested in the presence and use of new technologies in art, invests the public space and gives voice to national and international artists from different backgrounds.  <br><br>In preparation for the 2024 edition of the Biennial of Digital Imaginaries, CHRONIQUES renews its support for the production and touring of original artworks through the <strong>CHRONIQUES CREATION<\/strong> production platform, supported by R\u00e9gion Sud, the city of Marseille, the DRAC Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur, and by the General Directorate of Artistic Creation of the Ministry of Culture as part of the <strong>Resource Hub<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:66px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CHRONIQUES<br><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-random-accent-color\">Ressource Hub<\/mark> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 2024, CHRONIQUES was designated by the Ministry of Culture as the Resource Hub for Artistic Creation in Digital Environments for the Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur region.<br><\/strong>In response to the changes brought about by digital technology and its uses, and in order to better support hybrid and transdisciplinary forms of artistic creation in digital environments, the Ministry of Culture is establishing regional resource centers with the aim of better structuring the ecosystem.<br>The objective is to support artists and professionals, and to help structure ecosystem dynamics and cooperation at the regional level, particularly in terms of production and touring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:63px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:66px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The plateform<br><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-random-accent-color\">CHRONIQUES CREATION<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These new calls for projects are fully aligned with this dynamic, offering artists a structured framework to experiment, produce, and present their works. They aim to support artistic creation by strengthening synergies between artists, production venues, and distribution networks.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the CHRONIQUES CREATIONS platform, production is envisioned as a comprehensive and collaborative journey, providing financial support, residency phases, and public presentation stages.<br>The CHRONIQUES CREATIONS platform brings together operators from various fields (visual arts, live performance, music, audiovisual, virtual reality, etc.) who are committed to supporting artists exploring and questioning new digital technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This commitment and collective work allows us to be agile in our support of works for which we think about the ecosystem of projects with a distribution plan that can be sustained by partner venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From two categories in 2018, the CHRONIQUES CREATIONS platform expanded its selection to three categories in 2024: all disciplines creation, emerging creation, and creation in public spaces.
