{"id":30704,"date":"2022-11-10T16:44:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-10T15:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chroniques.org\/evenement\/biennial-of-digital-imaginaries-2022\/"},"modified":"2025-06-12T13:18:07","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T11:18:07","slug":"biennial-of-digital-imaginaries-2022","status":"publish","type":"evenement","link":"https:\/\/chroniques.org\/en\/evenement\/biennial-of-digital-imaginaries-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Biennial of Digital Imaginaries 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The programming of the Biennale des Imaginaires Num\u00e9riques encourages multidisciplinarity and the hybridization of forms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exploring the visual arts, the sound arts and live performance, the Biennial takes an interest in the presence and use of digital and new technologies in art, invests the public space and gives a voice to national and international artists from different horizons.. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From November 10, 2022 to January 22, 2023, more than 70 artists were exhibited at the Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille and in a dozen partner venues in Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. This program was accompanied by a special opening event from November 10 to 12, 2022, devoted to the inauguration of the exhibitions and an original itinerary of works in public spaces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closing week focused on live performance from January 18 to 21, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Biennale des Imaginaires Num\u00e9riques 2022 - Aftermovie\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E-6_PPba0TA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:86px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Two formats offer new ways of looking at the works, the themes and the different narratives conveyed by the artists and curators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One takes the form of a twenty-minute film &#8211; &#8220;Nyx&#8221; &#8211; which plunges us into a story around the theme of Night, during which the works are revealed in a new light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/805537604\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Discover immersive storytelling<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The other is an immersive digital archive of selected exhibitions immortalized by 3D scan.
